Wight Energy Payback

Returns of up to 9% on NEW FiT Rate
But hurry:
- From 1st April 2012 your house will need an EPC rating of C or above to qualify for the full Feed-in Tariff.
- Only 14% of houses are rated at C or above.
- It's much easier and cheaper to install before 31st March 2012.
To be sure of getting an installation before 31st March you need to order by 31st January 2012.
Now is the time to take advantage of the Feed-in-Tariff before it becomes much more difficult.
*If the Government offered to pay you £980 a year, tax free and index linked for the next 25 years in return for an upfront payment of around £9,999, you would snap it up in a second. Well, that’s pretty much the deal on offer after the government revealed what the Feed-in-Tariff rates would be from 12th Dec 2011.
Wight Energy are exclusively able to offer fantastic Returns on Investment from a solar PV system despite the cut in the FiT. Due to some strong negotiations Wight Energy have managed to pull forward their January prices to November, this means you can still earn amazing returns while cutting your electricity bills and helping to save the environment on Installs after 12th December 2011. As the table below demonstrates the Government now offers 21p per kW produced by any domestic system 4kW and under. This means that you can still earn a considerable amount of income through PV.
| Scale for installs after Dec 12th 2011 | Tariff for new installations in Period (p/kWh) |
| <4 kW (new build**) | 21p |
| <4 kW (retrofit**) | 21p |
| >4-10 kW | 16.8p |
** New Build means where installed on a new build before first occupation
Retrofit means installed on a building which is already occupied
